I am Dr. Qaisar Mahmood Sheikh graduated from King Edward Medical College in 1989. And I did my house job in Mayo Hospital, Lahore in 1990. After that I was selected in PPSC as Medical officer and worked in DHQ Hospital and in some BHU’s in Gujranwala. I did the first Peritoneal Dialysis in DHQ hospital in 1991. Later I got deputation to Allama Iqbal Memorial Trust Hospital, Gujranwala as MS and Head of the first Heamodialysis unit in Gujranwala Davison. In 1993, I went to Al- Noor Specialist Hospital, Holy Makkah as Registrar Nephrology department. In 1997. Then I was given the responsibility of a charity based HD Centre in Makkah as Medical Director and worked there for 5 years. In 2002, I came back to Pakistan and joined Allama Iqbal Memorial Trust Hospital, Gujranwala as Head of Nephrology.
